NEHR Integration
eLiz supports clinical diagnostic laboratories preparing to submit laboratory results to Singapore’s National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) infrastructure.

Supported Capabilities
eLiz supports secure system-to-system integration with the NEHR infrastructure using the interface specifications provided by Synapxe. The platform enables the transmission of laboratory results in structured formats aligned with NEHR message schemas, ensuring consistent data representation and reliable processing within the national health record system.
The platform also supports reconciliation workflows that allow laboratories to verify submitted records and track transmission outcomes. Where updates are required, previously submitted results can be amended through controlled correction workflows, ensuring changes remain traceable and properly validated.
Security & Transmission Controls
All communications between eLiz and the NEHR infrastructure are transmitted through encrypted channels designed to protect sensitive healthcare information during system-to-system exchanges. Secure connectivity is established through authenticated endpoints and controlled network access policies.
Result submissions follow controlled workflows within the platform to ensure records are validated and formatted according to required specifications before transmission. All transmissions and responses are recorded to maintain an audit trail supporting operational transparency and traceability.
Data Governance Alignment
Each laboratory submission includes identifiers associated with the performing laboratory to ensure accurate attribution of laboratory results within the NEHR system. Facility identifiers associated with both ordering and performing institutions can be included to support proper association of results with the requesting healthcare provider.
Laboratory results can be represented using structured data formats and recognised coding standards to support interoperability across healthcare systems. Unique message identifiers allow each submission to be tracked, ensuring traceability across integration workflows.
Implementation Support
NEHR onboarding requires coordination between laboratories, system vendors, and Synapxe integration teams. eLiz supports laboratories throughout the preparation and integration process, including result data mapping, interface configuration, testing coordination, and validation of transmission workflows.
